BreastHealth UK (BHUK) was established by consultant breast surgeon Gordon Wishart, to offer women a greater range of breast screening and diagnostic treatments than are currently available on the NHS.

Long term survival rates from breast cancer are good and increasing all the time but this is dependent on early identification and the implementation of an appropriate treatment pathway designed for the individual.

BHUK combines the experience of leading breast surgeons, radiologists, genetic counsellors and other breast specialists from across UK with the latest approaches and techniques.

BHUK clinics offer the full range of traditional breast screening and diagnostic services such as clinical breast examination (CBE), mammography, breast ultrasound, ultrasound guided biopsy and breast MRI, all conducted by an experienced surgeon, radiologist or breast nurse.

In addition, clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as Digital Infrared BreastScan, which is particularly suitable for younger women, and offer the latest genetic tests which offer fast results and more information than those currently available on the NHS.

All the technologies used at BHUK have been fully validated and are in regular use in the UK and around the world.
